░ [REVOSA] is a store that exclusively exists within the virtual world, Second Life. Starting in 2015, I taught myself how to use Blender, Marvelous Designer, and then plopped my store down in-world at a very small rented spot. For a long time, its existence was sponsored by a friend, as I spent most of my time hanging out at a nightclub designing and learning for hours, and hours on end.
Eventually sales increased enough that I was able to move away from cheaper and smaller areas, and into larger skyboxes that afforded me more space in order to expand.
But like all things, I needed more.
One of the things I’ve always wanted in Second Life was my own full region. An entire server with which I could do whatever I want, and have a permanent place for my store with seemingly no limits, whatsoever. At the beginning of 2023, that wish came true, and now my store is run, operated, and paid for by myself, and myself alone. It exists at the corner of a street within a city of my own creation, a placed called NEO MACHINA, that you can visit and explore to your heart’s content.
There is, of course, a lot more to the story of [REVOSA] than just this, but some things are best left in the past where they belong. Wherever the future may go, this little project of mine has gone on for over eight years, and here’s to its continued expansion as time and energy allow!
